So you are interested in joining our Pack, it is simple. Interested families should attend our Join Scouting Night Meeting in September. This year it is on September 10th at 7pm in the school Cafeteria. Also you can contact us and we can have an application delivered to your son through the school. All new Cub Scouts are required to complete a BSA Youth Application
which can be found below or at the BSA website: http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/Media/forms.aspx
. These forms will also be available at the Join Scouting Night Meeting in September. You can simply return your application with your son to Martell and have it addressed to the Pack 1706 Cubmaster.
Annual Dues are $85.00, which includes our charter to the Boy Scouts of America, the Pinewood Derby kits, some special events, the Blue and Gold Banquet, all patches and awards for the year, subscription to Boy's Life and much more. We are a self funded non-profit organization that relies on the Pack dues and fundraising.
A new uniform and Den Book cost approximately $80.00 and are available at the Troy Scout Shop located at 1155 East Long Lake Rd. in Troy, 248.253.9596. For those interested, the Detroit Area Council of Boy Scouts of America has a program of uniform donations that may be available and information can be obtained at the Scout Shop.
