Monthly outings

Every month we go on an outing to a different place. We try to not do one over again for 4 years. Some times we do not stick to this though. Each time it is a new experience. We hike around and camp over night We also get a chance to explore the great outdoors and every time we learn something new. This is a picture of when we played softball. Remember join the Boyscouts!

Merit Badges and Rank Advancements

Troop 30 focuses on learning new skills and personal development through achieving rank advancements and earning merit badges. Each year, scouts are provided an opportunity to participate in 2 merit badge colleges and summer camp as well as the chance to earn merit badges during troop meetings and on their own time. Also, the Troop 30 scoutmaster, older scouts and other adult leaders help guide scouts as they work toward advancing through the various boy scout ranks. Troop 30 has a very high percentage of boys who progress from Tenderfoot all the way to Eagle.

If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions in thepast, or even if they have never crossed your mind before now.

We have an answer for you. . .

The answer is a Scout.

A Troop 30 Scout.

A very cool, dirty, adventuresome and tired Troop 30 Scout.

If you ever happen across one of these Scouts crawling out of ahole somewhere or just walking across a parking lot, ask him what he does onsome of his weekends!
