Ben Godlewski’s life has taken on many changes and challenges. After receiving his diploma in 2012, he attended Calumet Welding Center and completed courses in arc, wire, helliarc and flux cored arc welding. That is GMAW, GTAW, FCAW and SMAW in welder speak.  He worked for awhile at SMS Millcraft as a welder, until life brought about some changes and he relocated to Bloomington, IN., where he currently lives. While down in Bloomington, Ben came up a different vocation in life.

Seems all of the service work and education of scouting never wears off. Ben began working at Life Designs in Bloomington last year as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). A DSP provides direct support to the individuals served by LifeDesigns, Inc.. LifeDesigns, Inc. provides services for seniors and people with disabilities across South Central Indiana.  Before long, Ben was promoted to Team Leader with LifeDesigns. He enjoys his job and the people under his care.

He still enjoys Jiu Jit Su, in which he has won first and second place medals . He works out when time allows and takes in the outdoors of bea-u-ti-ful Bloomington.
